Editor crashes on start

Hi,

I'm on WinXP and when I start the editor, all it says is "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b)"

Dear Cyraxx,

The editor should work using windows XP. In order to solve your problem, please proceed thus:

Uninstall the viewer and the editor with 'start, settings, control panel, Add or remove programs'

Then, reinstall the viewer available at http://www.net-viewer.com/download/AlambikViewer.exe, followed by the editor available at http://download.com.com/3000-2189-10132312.html

Try to launch the editor without any background applications.

If the editor again fails to launch correctly, please send us a screen-shot of the error as well as the following information:

Processor: (e.g) PIII 300 mhz
Memory: (e.g) 128 MB
O.S. Version: (e.g) Windows XP Pro 2002 US or UK or language used.

Dear Alambik Staff,

thanks for your reply. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but I still get the same error.

A screenshot isn't necessary in my opinion, it's just a message box with the above text and AlambikEditor.dat as the title.

Processor: Duron 800 MHz
Memory: 256 MB
OS: Windows XP Pro 2002 US (Ver 5.1 Build 2600)

since viewer 1.61 (ALK Script 4.5)i have probs under win xp sp1 with the Alambik ABC & ACE1 Standard Editor:
file.dll is missing! < start-err-msg, then crash. :-(

i have tried everything: reinstall, virus-scan, system-update (sp1, secure patches). the basic-editor ist ok and running but my ACE editor is crashed :-( can someone help? is my licencekey maybe not longer compatible?
